Research project

On Saturday 08 May 2021, Prof. Abdelbaki Benziane, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, presided over the ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters to launch the call for applications for research projects under the national research programmes (Food Security, Energy Security and Citizens’ Health), accompanied by several ministers, representatives of various sectors, councils and bodies, and central management executives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

For this purpose, a platform has been developed to apply for participation in these programmes, which will be practical from 20 May 2021

Teachers at the Oran Graduate School of Economics are involved in a number of research projects. A research project must be domiciled in the department that offers the specialization related to the research theme to be developed, regardless of the affiliation of the members of the research team.

Projects must align with the priority themes defined by the laboratory or respond to socio-economic needs or current scientific issues.

The themes of PRFU projects must be in line with :

  1. The achievement of the country’s socio-economic, cultural, scientific and technological objectives, as set out in article 7 of law 15-21 on on the orientation of scientific research and technological development ;
  2. Current scientific developments.

The aims of PRFU projects are essentially focused on research-based training and aim to achieve two goals :

  1. Doctoral thesis defense 
  2. Scientific production

Timeline :

Research reports, new proposals and promotions to research ranks must be processed by the Scientific Committees of the Departments. All these files must be sent to the Department of Doctoral Training, Scientific Research and Technological Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion so that they can be presented at the school’s Scientific Council.
